Dear Repository Platforms for Research Data Interest Group,
At its meeting on December 19, the RDA Technical Advisory Board considered your proposal for a session at Plenary 15 in 2020.
We are happy to advise you that your session proposal has been accepted. Congratulations!
TAB has some suggestions below for how you could improve your session.
Please update the session description accordingly to provide the best information for potential attendees. Suggested improvements:
- Agenda needs timing
- Keep time for discussion
- Precise what the intended outcome is for the session - what will success look like?
Best regards,

Dear Isabelle,
The members of the RDA Repository Platforms for Research Data (RPRD)
Interest Group (IG), the other co-chairs of the RPRD IG, and I very much
appreciate receiving your note, below, indicating that the RPRD IG session
proposal for RDA P15 has been provisionally accepted. We also appreciate
receiving the revisions that you requested for improving that session
proposal. Please note that the following changes have been completed within
the RPRD IG session proposal for RDA P15 to address the requested revisions
and let us know if any additional revisions are needed.
Regarding the need for allocating timing on the agenda and for allocating
time on the agenda for discussion, each presentation has been allocated 9
minutes and the discussion has been allocated 27 minutes within the Meeting
Agenda.
Regarding the need to describe the intended outcomes for a successful
session, a sentence has been added to the Meeting Objectives to describe
the intended outcomes of the session, which include "the identification of
current approaches for implementing data repository platforms, criteria for
selecting particular implementation approaches, and trade-offs and issues
for weighing such criteria."
We believe that these revisions have improved the RPRD IG session proposal
for RDA P15, which may be viewed on the following webpage.

Bob
