Re-established Reproducibility Interest Group -- endorsed by RDA Council

16 Aug 2023

***Apologies for cross-posting***
We are pleased to announce that the Reproducibility Interest Group was endorsed by the RDA Council in July 2023. The Reproducibility IG seeks to advance and enable reproducibility in research based on or producing datasets that require code. This IG follows the broad definition of reproducibility stated by Turing Way in order to provide an inclusive framework for discussions.
The goal of the IG is to build bridges between the many other RDA Working and Interest Groups and in coordination with external efforts addressing reproducibility, where appropriate. Our efforts may also produce Working Groups that can develop recommendations and solutions. The Reproducibility IG builds upon the work of the original IG that was active between 2014-2019.
We welcome input and participation on technical, practical, and social aspects of reproducibility and invite all members of the RDA to join the group and attend our session at P21 in Salzburg.
Reproducibility IG co-chairs,
Lauren Cadwallader
