20 Nov 2023

Dear all,
You are very welcome at the upcoming webinar I'll be giving about community engagement within the research data community from the perspective of my role (over the past 18 months or so) as an RDA / EOSC Future Domain Ambassador. Details as well as registration link below, and see you on Wednesday!
All the best,
Allyson Lister, RDA FAIRsharing WG, Data Repository Attribute WG, University of Oxford
Connecting communities to promote FAIR resources: perspectives from an RDA / EOSC Future Domain Ambassador
As part of Allyson's RDA / EOSC Future Ambassadorship, she has launched the FAIRsharing Content & Community Programme, which brings together discipline experts to curate FAIRsharing content and create FAIR educational material. In return, they are attributed for their efforts, gain expertise and become a part of a network of like-minded data enthusiasts that, as a result of this, will continue for years to come. This event will highlight the work of these enthusiastic domain experts, and how they have worked to connect their communities with the material and resources they need. This event will summarise the importance of and challenges facing the RDA and EOSC future in effective community building as well as dissemination of outputs.
