Dear all,
1. We have worked the charter in response to the review, please have a look at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1or0EyVCv_Nah5yy2mmYcdlPqRVZvZx-4WItf...
It starts with some text we will send to the reviewer, then the charter with modification can be read. Please do not make changes that are not related to the reviewer comments to keep it easy for the reviewer to track our answers.
2. I have prepared a second version of the RDA presentation, you can see the video (low resolution) and the slides at https://github.com/open-make/FAIR4RH-RDA-IG/tree/main/presentation . Please write your feedback at the top of https://etherpad.hu-berlin.de/ep/p/g.b9vQvzly2nMJWI6l$FAIR4RH-1 . I think every group has 10 minutes questions included.
Thank you all,
Julien

Dear all,
sorry I missed the last meeting, I was on a writing retreat.
Cosmetics: We start the charter with (abbreviation) and later in the text switch to (full name). Why is that so? I consider the second version as uncommon.
Should we aim for active participants/group chairs from the Global South before we proceed?
Where can I read up on the subgroups’ topics? In particular, how do they meet our objectives?
There seems to be a focus on openness in the charter. That’s nice. But isn’t that (one) part of FAIR principles? In particular, I’d consider openness one implementation strategy for FAIR principles, once we have the principles in place.
In FAIR4RS there was a subgroup dealing with definition work. I suggest to also have such a subgroup to match our objectives.
Sorry if I missed to read anything other than the etherpad and presentation.
Thanks
Alexander

No, problem. We have one meeting today. In case you can't make it, you are
always more than welcome to join regular monthly meetings.

Thank you for noticing this. I could not find the exact location of
(full name). I would kindly ask you to mark it in the text
and we will correct this.

We discussed Global South extensively in regards to Reviewer's comments.
Please, see the Etherpad notes
https://etherpad.hu-berlin.de/ep/p/g.b9vQvzly2nMJWI6l$FAIR4RH-1 as well as
Reviewer's comments. Shortly, we cannot aim for something that we may not
provide at all.

We have already agreed on this. Julien added more clearer statement
(please, see page 3).

Thank you for your suggestion. Please, keep in mind that we don't have a
subgroup and that this is an ongoing activity. While we discussed
Reviewer's comments, we realized that some risk management (in case
subgroups are not formed) should take place in the Charter. Please, see
page 6.

I did correct that part, actually, so it is not there anymore :)
