Groups audience:

Dear all,

We hope you are well. We are writing to remind you of three important items for our interest group:

1. First, we still have 2-3 open slots for presentations at our plenary session on Tuesday, 24 October. If you or your colleagues would like to present your research or practice on topics related to our draft of the Ten simple rules for data repositories to improve dataset discoverability (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vd8NakPYqWW2LzvUUc_zri91f4tu06rRfVEBm2zVtXg/edit?usp=sharing), please contact any group chair by 30 September.

2. Secondly, our next group call will be on Wednesday 20 September, starting at 12 pm UTC. You can check your local time here. Our main agenda items is to get the Ten Rules draft into a state that is ready for the plenary session. We will plan on devoting most of the meeting to actually working on the document.

3. Third, we are still recruiting for at least 2 new co-chairs, preferably to represent a diversity in world regions, professional stage, gender etc. If you are interested or know someone who may be, please contact us.

Kind regards,

Brigitte, Fotis, Kathleen and Ming
