Digital Preservation Coalition's #WeMissiPRES Online Programme
The global Digital Preservation Coalition is hosting #WeMissiPRES, an online programme of talks, presentations, and networking opportunities for the digital preservation community. The 3-day event is on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of September, 2020, and includes several presentations from RDA members related to COVID-19 data-sharing and digital preservation, including:
9/22: Natalie Harrower, Digital Repository of Ireland, on “Sharing COVID-19 research data: the role for digital preservation”;
9/23: Daniel Mietchen and Mark Graham, School of Data Science, University of Virginia, on “Digital preservation of catastrophic events”; and
9/23: Minglu Wang, Claudia Engelhardt, Iryna Kuchma, Katherine McNeill, Claudia Bauzer Medeiros, Ingvill C. Mochmann, Amy Pienta and Brian Pickering, RDA COVID-19 Working Group, on “Social Sciences Preservation Recommendations for Social Science Data in the RDA COVID-19 Working Group Output.”
