Brokering - Implications for data citation

The Working Group on Data Citation (WGDC) has issued a set of recommendations on citing evolving data. These have important implcations for a brokering, such as:
* the metadata record for a brokered data set needs to carry along, and supplement if necessary, the recommended attributes related to versioning, timestamping and persistent identifiers for the query that returned the dataset
* if the broker itself modifies the data in any way by reprojecting or reformatting then the broker should generate additional metadata that would enable a user to get exactly the same result from the broker in the future
It would be good if the Brokering IG began a discussion on this topic.
