Dear BDI IG members,
This is to inform you that we have not received objections or alternative candidates for Libby Ellwood as proposed new chair. Therefore Libby is now accepted as a new co-chair for the Biodiversity Data Integration interest group and replaces Dimitris Koureas.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to Libby, and thanks for stepping forward as a volunteer for this position! Together with the other chairs I am looking forward to a fruitful collaboration.
A short update also on rewriting the interest group charter: the writing team and chairs have not been able to do much work on this yet, so this has been postponed until the end of the month.
